The opening was marked by welcoming remarks from Father Aidan R. Rooney, Executive Vice President for Mission at St. John\u2019s University, who emphasized the value of these spaces of integral formation and the university\u2019s commitment to the Church\u2019s evangelizing and social mission.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the central moments of the morning was the lecture \u201cThe Future of Our Past,\u201d delivered by Dr. Mario J.
