Rocco Buttiglione
Lawyer from the Universities of Turin and Rome. Professor of Political Philosophy at the Universities of Teramo, Lateranense, and at the International Academy of Philosophy of the Principality of Liechtenstein, where he was Pro-Rector. Member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, and of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. Throughout his political career, he has held high responsibilities as Minister of European Union Policy and Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities; Member of the European Parliament and the Parliament of Italy, where he was Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies. He was President of the International Academy of Catholic Leaders.
