The International Academy of Catholic Leaders offers a variety of programs designed to train leaders committed to the common good, from a Christian perspective and in fidelity to the Social Doctrine of the Church. Its main initiatives include the International Diplomas, intensive in-person meetings in cities such as Rome or Mexico City, which bring together leaders from Latin America and Spain to reflect on ethical leadership, public participation, and spirituality. The Diocesan Training Schools, in alliance with parishes and dioceses, offer extended training in social and community leadership. In turn, the Academy promotes Virtual Programs accessible to the general public, with online content on ethics, citizenship, and Christian commitment. Specialized Seminars are also organized on current issues such as artificial intelligence, pontifical transition, and female leadership. Finally, the Academy develops Personalized Programs in conjunction with universities, episcopates, and foundations, adapting content and formats according to the realities of each country. All these programs seek to train a new generation of leaders at the service of the Church and society.

Throughout its years of existence, the International Academy of Catholic Leaders has been characterized by offering in-person training in the various dioceses where it is present. However, starting in 2020, and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and mobility restrictions to avoid contagion, a new virtual area was inaugurated. Since then, this modality has made it possible to continue providing first-rate training and has become consolidated as one more area within the formative work of the Academy.
At this first level, the objective is to offer basic content that introduces young people to Catholic Leadership, through the School of Secondary Catholic Leaders. It seeks to provide a solid initial formation, which allows students to understand and assume the fundamental principles of leadership from a Catholic perspective, thus laying the foundations for their personal and community development.
These programs offer content at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, including the Introduction to University Catholic Leadership and the School of University Catholic Leaders. It delves into issues of leadership and social doctrine, preparing students to exercise committed and well-founded leadership within the university environment, with a profile oriented towards future active participation in public service.
This level is designed to offer programs of a high academic level, developed in capitals such as New York, Rome, Mexico City, and Washington, with the aim of providing concrete tools to professionals who are already working in various fields and who are looking for a deeper training. Through initiatives such as the Introduction to the Social Doctrine of the Church and the International Diploma of Social Doctrine of the Church, intermediate and advanced content is taught that allows integrating faith and social doctrine in professional practice, promoting a critical, ethical, and transformative view of reality.
Congratulations on all this dynamism, may God bless the thousands of students and friends of the Academy!”.
