Paola Binetti
Physician, child neuropsychiatrist, and psychotherapist from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome and the University of Navarra. For 40 years, she has practiced as a physician and university professor between Italy and Spain. Full professor and director of the Department of Educational Research at the Bio-Medical campus at the University of Rome. She has held national responsibilities in the area of public health as President of the Science and Life Committee, President of the Italian Society of Medical Pedagogy, President of the Italian Medical Society, member of the National Bioethics Committee, and of the National Family Observatory. Member of the Parliament of Italy as senator and deputy for various political forces of the center and left, such as the Daisy, the Democratic Party, and the Democratic Union of the Center. She is a numerary member of the Opus Dei prelature.
